I'm Back Into The Motocross Scene!!

This Year Is A Blur
Unfortunately, not much has happened for my dirt biking career (riding and working). In fact, the only thing I've really done, was buy and sell a mint '07 Honda CRF150RB. It was a sweet bike, and I wish I could have kept it for a while, but we really needed room in the garage (I literally had to put it between two cars). I've just been so busy around the house for my grad party, then preparing and going down to Nashville for my brothers wedding. I can't say that I wouldn't have done most of the things I did this year so far.... I just wish I could do more.
Sad to say, my current status for Motocross addiction is at an all-time low in the past few years. One reason for this is because I've been swayed over to the realm of Drag Racing. That's not to say that I'm switching sports, because I will ride my dirt bikes for as long as I can...
I am no wimp, but the negatives of motocross racing has always been on my mind. Well, it finally hit me last fall when I went over the bars doing some warm up laps the day of my first district race. No bones were broken, fortunately, but it put me out of commission for weeks of doing anything. I'm not scared to race again, I just don't want to get hurt again! This is one of the biggest reasons drag racing has been so alluring to me the past year or so.
I'm actually working on a drag car project right now, and hope to get it out on the track before winter arrives. Motorsport racing is my blood, whether it's on two wheels or four. Drag racing is just so much safer, and the adrenaline can be almost as high as motocross (especially when pulling wheelies in a door car!).
Anyway, this post is basically just to clarify that I am still in the Motocross realm. I currently have a KX144 (Eric Gorr) that I am trying to sell so I can buy an aluminum-framed YZ125 (sorry Kawi fans, I don't trust them nearly as much as blue dirt scooters). So here I sit, waiting to sell a green bike in this horrible economy (about the worst combination), in hopes to eventually start racing with a blue 125 2-smoker again. If you want to tag along and follow up on my findings, projects, or if you have suggestions, feel free to subscribe or comment! Also, if you want riding tips, reviews, and help on bike set-ups/maintenance, check out Motocrosshideout.com! Hopefully I can get some riding footage on a YZ125 soon with a ContourHD Helmet Cam!!
