What to do if you think you want to start racing motocross.

If you are interested in trying the extreme sport of motocross racing, then listen up! It is one sport that is dangerous, yet fun, and actually addicting for a lot of riders. The first step you should do is go out to a motocross race and just spectate to check your urge. Once you've been to a race, and if you haven't already, go get a proper bike that will fit your needs.

Another thing that you must get before you go out and ride is protective gear. The bare minimum gear for this sport would be a helmet, motocross boots, long pants/shirt, gloves, and goggles. Other great gear to consider would be a neck brace, knee braces/guards, body armor/or chest protector and elbow guards. Once you have the proper bike and gear, then it's time to ride. Remember to get your riding footage in first-person with the Contour HD 1080p!

But before you go out and race you will want to check the track out by doing a practice. This is so that you can get used to the idea of being on the track with other riders. Plus, you can go at your own pace. If you're still interested in racing (and still in one piece) after practicing and getting the feel of your bike, then it's time to get out to your local race track.
